A message from our Patron
Mrs Lynne Cosgrove

Lynne CosgroveFor more than a decade the Australian Rainforest Foundation has been fighting hard to protect and extend our rainforests, so that the rainforests in turn can continue to care for the only home we have - Earth. For more than five of those years, I have been proud and delighted to lend my support to the Foundation as its Patron.
The result of literally millions of years of nature’s hard work Australia’s rainforests are true global treasures, treasures that we can all enjoy and scientists can learn from.

As they search our rainforests looking for cures for chronic diseases like cancer and AIDS scientists are at the same time trying to understand the critical role these delicately balanced ecosystems play in maintaining the world’s climate.

But, while they have survived for generations and worked so hard for us, now is the time our rainforests need us to protect them. And you can help.

It is up to us all to ensure that future generations not only enjoy the beauty and the history of these special places but benefit from scientific findings.

How many of us only really appreciate the true value of something when we no longer have it? Do you really want to say that about our rainforests?

Please join me in helping save Australia’s rainforests. Who knows what we will be missing if they are gone.
