Charlie Marino presents Roger Phillips, ARF CEO with a cheque for $2,500. |
With five offices in Far North Queensland, Marino Moller Lawyers position themselves as regional lawyers making a difference and rather than holding an annual client Christmas party in 2007, the firm presented the Australian Rainforest Foundation with a cheque for $2500 as part of their commitment to the Foundation’s Hero2 program.
Since making the announcement to clients and staff, Managing Partners, Charlie Marino and Brett Moller said they have both received tremendous support and congratulations.
“I really believe that we have a responsibility to help strengthen our community and I know our clients support these initiatives,” Brett Moller said.
“Being part of the community is more than just providing a legal service – it’s about giving back in many ways. We have supported the ARF for many years including conducting pro-bono work for the non profit organisation,”
Brett Moller has extended a challenge to other firms in Cairns to support the Australian Rainforest Foundation whether though the Hero2 project, a one off company donation or encouraging payroll giving.
