Tourism partners tree day in the Daintree
A hugely successful online marketing campaign launched in March 2008 by joint partners Tourism Queensland, Tourism Tropical North Queensland and Port Douglas and Daintree Tourism resulted in 3,000 trees being earmarked for planting by the ARF in the Daintree.
In November 2008 representatives from all three sponsoring partners joined ARF staff on the George Mansford Reserve rehabilitation site at Cape Tribulation to plant a share of the 3,000 quota.
Our thanks go out to all willing and happy workers; Doug Ryan (Port Douglas Daintree Tourism), Alison Dendall, Sarah Jenyns and Tony Broadhurst (Tourism Queensland) and Marcus Brady (TTNQ) and of course the ARF Team!
